In this movie, a girl returns from Hiroshima to her hometown of Iwate, and through the journey to reach “Wind Phone”, “Relief of the Injured Heart” and the important things we are forgetting are engraved through the video. It is the contents to go.

Director Suwa and my comments were introduced at the crank-in.

[Director Atsuhiko Suwa]
We, who cannot wing a smartphone for a while, fall into the illusion that we are connected to all the world with just one hand operation. However, we may have forgotten that there are people and the world that are not so easily connected. The “Wind Phone” is quietly placed on a hill in Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture. There are no easy-to-understand signs or guide maps, and it seems as if you are inviting us to travel, saying, “Come on, come here on your own.” From the time of visiting Kumano, traveling is an act of rebirth to be reborn. We will also travel with the injured hero Haru’s soul, aiming for a “Wind Phone”. For me, it’s been a long time since I shot in Japan, but like the signpost, wonderful performers will participate. I think a movie shows something and at the same time creates something invisible. I hope this movie will be a journey that can restore the power of creativity.

[Itaru Sasaki, “Wind Phone” installer]
“Wind Phone” is a phone that conveys your feelings to people you can’t meet. The desire to connect with the dead can give people hope to live. In life, one can create his own story and think of it as alive. When a loved one is lost, it is his sensibility and imagination that heals the sadness of the bereaved. Humans have a desire to regain what they have lost. Healing requires a new story through the imagination of being reconnected to the deceased.
This time, it was decided to make a movie of “Wind Phone”. The main character, Haru, who lost her parents in the great earthquake, gradually opens her heart to the kindness of various people during her journey. While visiting her hometown of Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture, and asking herself, she realizes that her life is always meaningful. She says she’s “questioned by life” right now, so no matter how painful it is now, she doesn’t have to throw everything away.

Shooting with “Wind Phone” will be on April 30th.

This movie will be a national road show in early spring 2020.

The 2nd “Wind Phone” Music Festival Live & Talk will be held

Yesterday, the third executive committee of the “Wind Phone” Music Festival was held. After confirming the appearance of 9 groups of individuals and groups at that seat, it was decided to hold the event.

*The photo shows the state of the last music festival

At this music festival, people who sympathize with “Wind Phone” meet in Kikki no Mori, and for various reasons, they are close to people who have grief, share and support each other, and the children who will bear the future. We aim to nurture sensibilities. When I talk to today’s children, the words “know” and “know” are returned. But I know, but I don’t feel it. Knowing is not half as important as feeling. It is necessary to experience knowledge with sensitivity, so-called experience. Even if you know it as knowledge in your head, you cannot acquire it unless you feel it in your heart. That’s why bullying doesn’t go away. Adults and children, professionals and amateurs who make full use of the five senses in nature, sing and play together, and the children’s liveliness, freshness, beauty and excitement are shared together. I think that is the very thing that is by my side. One day, this music festival will trigger the birth of an artist, and I have a dream that the town will lead to the promotion of culture and art.

Date and time: Sunday, April 28, 2019, 11:00 am to 15:00 pm

Social gathering (music festival venue) from 15:00 Participation fee: Free

On the day of the event, we will share the Christmas rose seedlings at a bargain price, just like last time.

The 2nd book “‘Wind Phone’ and Grief Care” Publishing

October 31st, the second book, “‘Wind Phone’ and Grief Care”. It was published with a title about care that is close to the heart. This is an edited book with Dr. Yanaga of the Infection Control Center, Keio University School of Medicine.

The first work, “Wind Phone,” is about why it was created, what you see, what you think, and what you are trying to do. And in his second book, he carefully picks up the messages of those who visit the wind phone and examines the process of grief and grief care from multiple perspectives. It is a must-see book for helpers involved in disaster relief, bereaved family and care for caregivers.

The text explains that “Wind Phone” by Dr. Van Dyke, an American psychiatrist, is a therapy performed by a person holding a grief without a therapist. In addition, Professor Ian Jared Miller of Harvard University talks about his own views such as why he is incorporating “Wind Phone” in his classes at Harvard University.

It is on sale at bookstores nationwide or Amazon.

Lecture on “Wind Phone” as a mental infrastructure with Shizuoka Life Phone

November 4th (Sun) 14: 00-16: 00 Shizuoka Prefecture Mokusei Kaikan (Shizuoka Prefecture Staff Hall) will hold a lecture hosted by Shizuoka Life Telephone and “Wind Phone” as a mental infrastructure it was done. As one of the measures against suicide, the life phone (Japan Life Phone Federation), which is run by volunteers, has deep worries and pains and can not talk to anyone and thinks about suicide. It is an activity that accepts consultations by setting up a telephone to listen to the story of the person who is doing it.

The phone of life is aimed at people who are desperate to live, and “Wind Phone” is an activity for those who have lost their loved ones and are desperate to have their own hopes of living. I have accepted the story that there may be something in common.

Grief care by Wind Phone is an activity without a therapist that awakens the natural healing power or self-healing power of an individual, and is a therapy performed by the person holding the grief. One can create his own story in life and think of it as alive. And it is the sensibility and imagination of a person that heals the sadness of the person left behind when he loses his loved one. Because humans have a spiritual activity to recover what they have lost, healing requires a story that can be resumed and reconnected. Asking yourself on the Wind Phone is the creation of a continuation of your story, and you will be able to regain the days that were cut off even for a moment. I think you can get it.

It is said that suicide countermeasures are loneliness countermeasures, but when considering the care that incorporates natural healing power and natural resilience, which is to utilize the natural power of human beings that I have taken in my Phone of the Wind, I am lonely. I think it is necessary to take measures one step further and take measures for lifestyle. Lifestyle measures are, in short, a matter of how you perceive your existence, and you need to train them before you go out into society. Playing a match without practice in any sport is a source of injury and can be life-threatening. As with sports, when going out into society, I think it is necessary to clarify the mission of an individual to live, such as “what is life” and “what to live for” at school and elsewhere. By doing so, even if a situation is unacceptable to the world, I think I can challenge my mission without frustration or despair. Also, humans have evolved in nature. It has been scientifically proven that touching green can open and heal the hearts that have been injured in disasters and accidents. It is desirable to take measures against loneliness by utilizing the place of communication through citizen’s farms using vacant lots such as Kleingarten, which is said to have originated in Germany, and Dacha in Russia. As the last bastion after those measures, it is hoped that no one will lose their lives by suicide in the telephone activity of life. I’m talking about that.
