9 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake Thinking about logic from the practice of “Wind Phone” activities

Today, March 11th, “Wind Phone” was featured in yahoo top news. Article of the Japan Agricultural News “Wind Phone” to heaven It is Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture, where you can live with unhealing wounds. When I read it, I notice that it contains some reporter’s creations.

The “Wind Phone” was created the year before the Great Earthquake, and the truth is that the death of his cousin was the trigger. Rather, it is open to all people who have a sense of loss.

Today, nine years after the Great Earthquake, I would like to express my current feelings as a “Wind Phone” installer, as stated in the title.

Many people died in the great earthquake. No one died in hopes. Everyone would have wanted to live more and more. There are many people who couldn’t live even if they wanted to. Many people still have a hard time because they can never meet their loved ones in just a moment. Because of these facts, I am aware of myself being “lived” and find my “life” in continuing activities that create a place of heart.

Losing a loved one is very painful. You won’t be able to stand up for a while. However, at one point, when I look back on the happy days and words of my loved ones, my family and friends who lived with me, I have to reorganize my life in a new environment, not in the past. You will notice.

Grief care by “Wind Phone” is a therapy without a therapist that awakens the self-healing power of each individual, and is a therapy performed by the person holding the grief. (People rarely change when someone tells them, but they try to do what they are convinced of and change.)

People live with dreams and hopes in their lives. And because of that, it leads to a rich way of life. However, dreams and hopes are not real but fictional worlds. It’s so-called fiction, it’s a myth. You can think of it as a story. Yes, one can think of creating his own story in life and living in that world. And when you lose your loved one, those who are left behind will be cut off from the story. Dreams and hopes will also stop. Especially in the event of a sudden disaster, accident, suicide, etc., I am not prepared for my heart and feel confused and hopeless about what to do from now on.

The bigger the dream so far, the bigger the degree. Therefore, in order to heal the bereaved, it is necessary to re-spin the story. And the sensibility and imagination of human beings are important for the work. In addition, human beings have a spiritual activity to recover what they have lost, and healing requires a story of being able to reunite and reconnect with the deceased. I think it is the person’s sensibility and imagination that creates this new story.

It is a self-discovery and an expression of self-consciousness to come to “Wind Phone” and ask yourself a question on a telephone that is not connected to the telephone line. It becomes clear what you are sad, what you are suffering from, and what you are angry with. The work leads to the reflection of the story so far and the creation of a new story, and the days that were cut off will be regained even for a moment, and the survivors must be aware of the new development of the story. That leads to the creation of the power to live. We also believe that it will encourage the shift of consciousness from despair to hope and create the power to live a new life while having sadness.

If you can change your consciousness, you need to accept that the current situation is necessary for your life. By accepting it, you can take a step forward. No one is restraining your freedom with a grief. From an objective point of view, you can see that you have barbed wire in your heart and deprive you of your freedom. Nothing is restraining you.

You are free to act. You can do whatever you want. It’s a good idea to come to “Wind Phone”. Do what you like. Please open your heart a little and accept nature obediently. People have originally evolved in nature. It doesn’t change even in modern times. It has been scientifically proven that when a loved one is lost in a disaster or accident and the heart is hurt and the vitality is reduced, the heart is healed and the power to live is obtained by watching and nurturing the greenery. Even during the Great East Japan Earthquake, there were many people who lived in temporary facilities and were hurt and said, “I just need one potted plant that doesn’t need anything.” Green is an element necessary for human life to be physiologically and mentally stable. When your heart is hurt and your vitality is weakened, put yourself in nature, feel the cycle of nature, and entrust yourself to the rhythm of nature. Of course, you can also visit Bell Gardia KUJIRAYAMA, which has a “Wind Phone”. This is described by the British royal family’s cue garden as “this garden is the English garden itself.” I would like to invite all of you who are still suffering from trauma (maybe it was a lip service) to visit us once.

Good faith people who sympathize with the Asahi Shimbun “Wind Phone” article

In the evening edition of the Asahi Shimbun on January 7, 2020, the activities of Bell Gardia KUJIRAYAMA after the Great East Japan Earthquake were introduced as “Wind Phone”, Library of the Woods”, and “The Forest of Kikki”. It has been 10 years since it was a place to heal and nurture children’s sensibilities, and many people have come to visit it.

In addition, it was reported that the movie “Wind Phone” will be released nationwide from the 24th, and it is expected that more people will visit. However, my physical strength is weakening and maintenance is becoming difficult. Encouragement calls, letters, and fundraising have arrived from people all over the country for articles that require the help of others. I am very happy to support you, not just the amount of money.

I will join the ranks of the late-stage elderly on February 15, but I am renewing my desire to do my best while my body is moving. Some people were anonymous, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone. thank you.

Movie “Wind Phone” special pre-screening special talk show held in Otsuchi

On December 18th, a special pre-screening of the movie “Wind Phone” was held at the Otsuchi Town Cultural Exchange Center (Oshacchi) Multipurpose Hall. Haru, who lost his family in the Great East Japan Earthquake and became alone, has to live with his aunt in Hiroshima, but her aunt also collapses due to illness. Why do I have to experience this kind of sorrow? .. Hull’s heart becomes “impressive,” “insensitive,” and “indifferent” so that he will not feel anything no matter what he sees or touches, so that his heart will not be crushed by any more sadness.

This role of her was only selected as the director being her only, and Motora Serina is so suitable that it seems that it is not her acting but the ground. After his aunt collapses, Hull impulsively leaves the house and embarks on a journey to his hometown of Otsuchi. Along the way, he meets people with various sorrows and sufferings, all of whom find that he is not the only one suffering from problems. In the movie, there is a line from Morio saying, “Who remembers my family when you die?” Yes, I think that even if you die, the soul will exist as long as there are people who know that person. I think that the soul is released when no one knows it, and it is a relative object to the living person. Hull finally arrives at the mallet while being pushed and hugged by the people he meets. I lived with my family before the earthquake, and now I’m standing in my house where only the foundation remains, and I call out “I’m home” and “I’m home” … but I don’t get a reply. It’s a difficult time for Hull, a high school student. A boy who happened to meet at the station goes to “Wind Phone” to talk with his father who died in a traffic accident, so Hull decides to go with him and finally arrives at “Wind Phone”.

However, the depiction around here feels a little unnatural. In general, the premise for us to do, see, hear, and take action is to know that the object is there. Isn’t it the first time you want to go and see it?

The return of autumn salmon also has the purpose of returning to the river where it was born and raised and spawning, so it can endure the difficulties on the way and return to its hometown. In the case of Hull, the necessity was not drawn. I felt that there was a lack of liveliness and momentum as a story because I followed the boy I met at Otsuchi station by chance.

The healing and charm of “Wind Phone” lies in the enthusiasm to visit it. With a grief, a barrier in my heart, my thoughts confused, and I couldn’t take a step from there, I was enthusiastic to know that there was a “Wind Phone” and to go there. “Wind Phone” finally arrives at a place in the countryside that is not on the map, where there is no information board and it is difficult to understand. This is what the American Psychological Association calls mindfulness. It creates a state of meditation in Japanese Zen.

I want to go to “Wind Phone”. And you will concentrate on the desire to convey your feelings. Therefore, after talking on the phone, you will be satisfied with the feeling of being healed and saved with a feeling of liberation.

Director Suwa looks back at himself on a trip. When a person experiences a loss, he or she seeks a place that can be trusted, a place that accepts it. He emphasizes that “travel is essential for human regeneration.” In recent years, it seems that young people and inbound tourists are visiting 88 places in Shikoku, but it is said that you can find something like a guidepost for your life by just walking in contact with nature and people. Haru-chan may have found something more important than dying on the journey. The 10 minutes in the box of Wind Phone at the end was a masterpiece. Hull’s previously suppressed emotions are gradually and quietly spoken. The sounds of nature, the sounds of the wind, frogs and seagulls, and the barking of insects played an effective role in music for us. It was

I think this movie is not an entertainment movie to watch and enjoy, but a movie that encourages us to feel in our hearts and grasp our radical problems deep inside the movie.
